for some reason my mom didnt want me to make one. i can tell you about her though.
she is 14.1hh and built like a thoroughbred so needs a sorta small rider. her full siblings are showing on the a circuit. she can jump from any distance and still be pretty. She has a huge stride and brave to EVERYTHING. she can find distances very well on her own (better than me) and adjust for them. She is very sweet and does not have a pony personality. If she respects/trusts you, she is forgiving and pretty much point-and-shoot and a very easy ride. She cant have a rider who gets nervous, because then she gets nervous. Also, you cant mess with her mouth a lot until she really trusts you.
She may sound a little difficult, but she really isnt. The hardest thing for me to learn was that when she tries to take over, if you drop the reins and pet her, she gives it up, but if you pull back, she gets mad and faster. Seriously, if you just give her her head, she relaxes so much, and when you pet her, you can actually feel the energy leaving her (my mom agrees, im not crazy). If she gets nervous, just cantering 3-4 circles and a lap around the ring is enough to calm her down. It doesnt wear her out (nothing can) but it does relax her. Shes jumps stuff my perfect medium(stop the press) would stopped at. I buried her so badly to a jump, at an angle, that she basically jumped it from a stand still. I was told it was still really pretty. I thought she was gonna stop and when she jumped it i thought there was no way we were gonna clear it, but we did. (it was a 2'6" oxer). I am now able to start getting her on the bridle without her getting upset, but i also ride her with no reins and no stirrups, something i thought i would never do again when we leased out my medium. She is not greedy about treats. She can get treats when ever because of this, but also because she doesnt get fat. If she respects/trusts you she will be a great pony, but if you also have a personal bond with her, she will be the most amazing pony you have ever ridden.
I wish we could keep her, but i am too big for her, i already have a horse, and we already are keeping my medium
