haha claire thats pretty funny... sad but funny ya well this whole entire show season i would like never place in the flat and it was really sad cuz smooch used to kick butt in the flat classes but this year he didnt and i would do good in the over fences but i wouldnt get champion or reserve cuz we wouldnt place under saddle and then we found out he was lame so ya..

kenzie, i had the same thing happen. not on the flat, cuz even lame beanie can win, but he started refusing. everyone thought it was my fault and my trainer actually walked out of a lesson on me she was so mad. then we found out he had epm. the strangest part is he's such a nice mover that he was still winning! one reason we cant lease him to people in the barn is my mom is so paranoid about epm (people whose horses have epm often get epm paranoia) that it would drive her crazy thinking he had it again

ok, i can get REALLY detailed cuz when your pony has it you get lots of info on it. and i did it for my speach topic last year.
basically, its a neurological disease
anyone want any more info, just ask, i think i still have my speaches and at least one is still memorized

smooch has EPM! what a coincidence. did your pony fully recover from it? cuz my mom is all paranoid that smooch won't but our last pony had it and fully recovered and i didn't think it was the kind of thing where they had permanent damage... but i was just wondering...
the weird thing with smooch is he was lame on the flat for like 2 months or more prolly but he still jumped beautifully and was winning over fences but he kept limping on the flat. then it all started being bad but ya...

this past year i fell off in equitation finals after having a so-far-nice course, so i didn't get to do the flat, and the 3 girls from my barn got 1st, 2nd and 3rd in it and the picture was put up at the barn along with a congratulations poster. so that was really sad. i also fell off about 6 or 7 times at shows this year, and more at home....so that wasn't fun either, haha.

ive only fallen off like7 times my entire life my pony bucked me off 2 weeks after i had him, cantered when i was trotting him bare back and i wasnt prepared threw me into a fence due to the cows next to coventry came charging at us from teh other side of a wire fence Deep Run SS incident and then one more, but then Pocket Change and sierra(like first horses ive ridden) i lost confidence over a fence and they were just like im done with you and threw me off (when i fell off pocket, i had a bleeding elbow) and when i rode sierra, i bruised my butt REALLY badly due to a harder surface from the rain
