PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE - THIS BOY IS FIGHTING TO SURVIVE AND WILL NOT BE AWAKE FOR CHRISTMAS
11 year old Joseph Tatum (my boyfriend’s little brother) has been in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, in critical condition, for over a month now. His heart and other organs are failing, and he is waiting for a heart transplant. Unfortunately, during his wait, he has had to go through many difficult procedures, to save his life, that are NOT covered by insurance companies. For example, he has had to have 2 Berlin Hearts attached to each side of his heart, and they cost $260,000 each; they are not approved by the FDA yet, so insurance will not cover them. Also, he has been in the hospital so long that his parents are reaching their insurance cap. Not only does Joseph need a miracle this holiday season, he needs prayer, support, and donations. His parents are going to need a lot of financial support to get through this ordeal. Once the insurance runs out, doctors are not able to give patients ALL the care they need. Please keep them in your prayers and donate if possible.
