I'll be there, hopefully taking pictures. I board at Stillmeadows now, so I'd be there anyways.
Sarah, you own, or owned Toy, right?

Yep I owned Toy for a long time:) I sold him 2 years ago to a woman at Rockville Equestrian Center. I bought my current horse, Carlitos from Sulu 2 years ago right before I sold Toy. It took me a long time to come to terms with having to sell Toy, but I am glad I did because he has a happy life with his new owner and my horse is perfect for me:)

You probably don't remember me, but we were at Swift Creek at the same time, when Rachel was riding Toy as well. I saw Toy at a show recently, and wondered if you still had him. Yeah, I saw pictures of Carlitos online too, and recognized him as one of Mary's old horses, I believe.

Are you Sarah Black? There are way too many people named Sarah. Yep Carl was Mary's old horse. She sold him to me because he needed a career change and she was going to collage. Does Rachel still ride?

Yup, that's me. I'm not sure if Rachel is still riding or not. She switched barns sometime last year, and I believe she was riding/doing an internship with VA Equine, but I have no idea if she's still doing it.

How many people typically go to these shows? I'm debating over taking my horse in a couple of low classes. We're doing CVSJA on Sunday, but I might do just 2 or three on Saturday too, since it's here.

I'm sure he would! It's going to be tough, because we all have to ride on Saturday to school for the CVSJA the next day, but I don't know WHEN we're going to do it! Which is why I might do a couple of little classes.

I did the JR schooling, children's hunter, and the combined eq. i got 6th in the eq... but only because only 6 people flatted! We didn't get anything else, my horse isn't a hunter, but he was AWESOME. You didn't used to be able to take him to shows, he was so nuts. But he was really good. We're a little sticky with the lead changes still which is what kept us so low in the eq, I think, and out of all the other classes.... the chipping didn't help in the hunter classes either though!

Yeah I used to ride at Swift Creek too. We didn't go to Stillmeadows but how did the hunter divisions go Sarah?
